The room had a serious issue with noise from the AC, quite disruptive during the night. The restaurant only serves breakfast, leaving limited dining options later in the day, and the furniture in the room felt quite dated. I also ran into a problem with the water service around early evening-definitely not cool when you want a shower after a long day. Lastly, the narrow location leads to some unsettling noise from the street.

The breakfast was above average and extensive on the roof top, savoury food. Got extremely pleasant and brand-new standard twin room with ac as expected, greatly enjoyed it...

    frustrating check-in

The rooftop breakfast experience offered amazing views of Stone Town.

My check-in process was frustrating, with delays due to issues regarding my reservation that extended my wait unnecessarily.

I took a standard king room with mosquito netting and ac, for instance. Favourable and incredible location close to everything, met needs well.

    The staff was weird.

Overall clean place with very responsive and incredibly helpful staff and panoramic view right on the ocean. Perfect and excellent location for Zanzibar, not far from beach front and Forodhani gardens, beautiful Zanzibar and selected areas. The hotel of choice in Zanzibar.

    great location

    Great spot for exploring!

Super chill place, right near Stone Town. The rooftop breakfast was a highlight with its fab view, and the staff were generally friendly. We had a little mix-up about late check-out. They caught us off guard. All in all, it was a comfy stay, just a bit of room for improvement.

    working ac
    rooftop breakfast
    good cleaning
    cramped room
    limited space

The Standard Double Room was decent for my solo stay. AC worked well, a lifesaver in the heat. The rooftop breakfast area had a nice vibe, but the room felt a bit cramped. Cleaning was good overall, so I can't complain too much. It served its purpose for a night in Stone Town.

The location is excellent, just a short stroll to Stone Town's attractions. My room wassuper clean and cozy, with a 32-inch plasma-screen satellite TV, a mini-fridge, and air conditioning. Staff members were super helpful, remembering all guests' names and providing a homely breakfast experience.

The bed was a bit hard.

    cute staff
    great location
    delicious breakfast
    limited hot water

This hotel is just a short stroll from the Stone Town UNESCO site. Plus, the staff warmly welcomed us, including our pets, a huge relief for our family. Breakfast was good every morning, accommodating our needs.

My wife says that limited hot water was frustrating for the kids.
